Back in last fall season of 2020, Finot Engineering PLC has successfully completed the initial phase of construction for the national geothermal power plant in Ziway, Ethiopia. Last fall, the company demonstrated its expertise by constructing robust foundations and essential civil works for the project. This included building solid bases for the power plant’s electro-mechanical components, as well as crucial infrastructure such as canals, culverts, and the main power station foundation. The entire construction process adhered to stringent quality standards, ensuring a strong and durable base for the subsequent phases of the project.
Building on this success, Finot Engineering has secured a new contract to expand its involvement in the geothermal power plant. The company will now undertake the construction of the complete plant fencing, a sophisticated drainage system, and a modern water conservation pool. This expanded scope highlights Finot’s capabilities and commitment to the project’s overall success.
To achieve these milestones, Finot Engineering has forged productive partnerships with both local and international companies, including collaborators from Japan and Turkey. This collaborative approach has enriched the project with diverse expertise and best practices.
Finot Engineering’s contribution to the Ziway geothermal power plant is a testament to the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions. As the project progresses, Finot Engineering remains committed to supporting Ethiopia’s energy goals and contributing to the nation’s sustainable development.
