Finot Achieves Remarkable Progress on Kotebe Wastewater Treatment Plant Project

The Construction wing of Finot Engineering and Trading PLC continues to demonstrate excellence and dedication through its remarkable progress on one of its flagship projects — the Kotebe Wastewater Treatment Plant. In this transformative sanitation infrastructure development, Finot has been entrusted with completing all earthworks, involving the excavation and disposal of over 402,000 cubic meters of soil across a 163,897 square meter catchment area.

Since the project’s commissioning, Finot Engineering has achieved impressive efficiency, completing 80% of the massive earthwork in just two months, far ahead of the planned 90-day schedule. This milestone reflects the company’s unwavering commitment to quality, timeliness, and dynamic engineering execution.

To maintain this accelerated momentum, Finot has deployed 6 modern excavators, 2 bulldozers, a loader, 50 dump trucks, and more than 100 skilled personnel, utilizing flexible methodologies to overcome the demanding challenges presented by the rainy season.

A recent joint field visit and performance inspection conducted by Finot Engineering and the project owner, CGCOC, resulted in commendation for Finot’s exceptional progress, professionalism, and strong project management capabilities.

Finot Engineering and Trading PLC is proud to collaborate with globally recognized partners and remains committed to contributing its expertise to the continued advancement of Ethiopia’s infrastructure sector.
