Finot Engineering and Trading PLC proudly announces the successful completion and formal handover of the full earthwork scope for the Kotebe Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Project—one of Addis Ababa’s flagship infrastructure developments.
As a GC-1 contractor, Finot has once again demonstrated its execution excellence by delivering this complex and large-scale earthwork package on time, to the highest quality standards, and in full compliance with project requirements. This achievement marks a major milestone not only for the project but also for Finot’s continued growth and capacity to deliver high-impact national infrastructure.
Commissioned by the Addis Ababa City Administration, financed by the World Bank, and executed under the main contractor CGCOC, the project plays a critical role in advancing the city’s environmental sustainability and urban development.
Finot’s scope covered comprehensive earthwork operations across all process units, buildings, and infrastructure zones. Despite challenging ground conditions—including both soil and rock strata—the company successfully executed site preparation, topsoil management, excavation, hauling, disposal, and leveling works with precision, efficiency, and strict adherence to safety and technical standards.
