About the Position:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Finance Accountant to join our established team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial decision-making, with IFRS. This role requires a professional with strong analytical skills, integrity, and a proven track record in private sector companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards
- Monitor cash flow, financial planning, and reporting
- Handle tax planning, filing, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Support management with financial analysis and strategic recommendations
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, with at least 4 years in Private Limited Companies, including business, development, or trading companies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
- Proven experience in financial management and reporting
- Proficiency in accounting softwares and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and good conduct
Desirable Skills:
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are an advantage
- Experience in ERP systems is a plus, where our company is developing its own
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
