Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to oversee HR operations and contribute to a productive, inclusive, and supportive work environment. The HR Officer will play a key role in policy development, recruitment, employee relations, job description creation, and ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Lead the recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection.
- Draft and update job descriptions in collaboration with department heads.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in HR management.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with HR policy development and job description creation.
- Expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- High level of integrity in managing confidential and sensitive information.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience (within company scale).
