Human Resources Officer

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to oversee HR operations and contribute to a productive, inclusive, and supportive work environment. The HR Officer will play a key role in policy development, recruitment, employee relations, job description creation, and ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead the recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection.
  • Draft and update job descriptions in collaboration with department heads.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and other relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in HR management.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with HR policy development and job description creation.
  • Expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • High level of integrity in managing confidential and sensitive information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience (within company scale).
