The construction wing of Finot Engineering and Trading PLC continues to demonstrate excellence and dedication through its remarkable progress on one of its flagship projects — the Kotebe Wastewater Treatment Plant. This transformative project is designed to address Addis Ababa’s long-standing wastewater management challenges, marking a major step forward in improving the city’s sanitation infrastructure.
Since the project’s commissioning, Finot Engineering has shown inspiring efficiency, achieving 80% completion of the massive earthwork in just two months, significantly ahead of the planned 90-days timeline. This milestone underscores Finot’s commitment to quality, timeliness, and dynamicity in engineering execution.
To maintain this pace, Finot effectively deployed modern machinery and dump trucks, while applying flexible methodologies to adapt to the stringent challenges posed by the rainy season and the varying characteristics of the earth materials encountered on site.
A joint field visit and performance inspection was recently conducted by Finot and the project owner, CGCOC, during which Finot received commendation and appreciation for its outstanding progress, professionalism, and project management excellence.
This achievement reflects Finot’s broader mission — to deliver high-impact projects that support national development priorities while upholding international standards of performance and sustainability.
Finot remains proud to collaborate with globally recognized partners and to continue contributing its expertise to the advancement of Ethiopia’s infrastructure sector.
